Closed Cell Spray Foam

Closed cell spray foam has tightly packed 'cells' that are completely closed, making it denser and more rigid. Closed cell spray foam has higher thermal R-values (approx. 7 per inch) than open cell spray foam (approx. 3.5) and conventional blown-in insulation (between 2.7–3.7 per inch).

Spray foam doesn't settle, shrink, or deteriate. It maintains its thermal R-value and sound reduction qualities within close tolerance over the life of your home. It adheares to the substrate, which allows for an easy monolithic installation, plus greater structural strength and stability. Spray foam also expands to fill uneaven irregularly shaped and hard to reach areas for all-in-one insulation, air barrier, vapor retarder, and thermal break. This energy efficiency often results in smaller HVAC system requirements.
